His career began early, becoming Managing Director at just 23, where he led a £7m manufacturing facility with a 120-strong team. Over the years, he held senior leadership roles across the USA, China, and Australia, managing revenues exceeding £750m and EBITDA of £40m. His expertise spans manufacturing—including foundries, injection moulding, electronics, white goods, and lighting—as well as wholesale distribution with some of the world’s leading brands. With deep experience in M&A, private equity, and turnarounds, Alan successfully revived a wholesale distribution business in Brisbane before returning to the UK. Today, as an executive coach with a master’s degree, he empowers leaders and organizations worldwide through coaching, mentoring, off-site facilitation, and keynote speaking. His first book, published during COVID, further extends his impact.
