Lijia Zhang is an internationally recognized writer, journalist, and public speaker with expertise in contemporary China and cross-cultural issues. Once a teenage factory worker at a military plant in Nanjing, she taught herself English and transformed her life through literature, later becoming a published author and global commentator.
